beelzebub was born to two catz owned by arie at litterzfactory and was available for adoption on their website along with his siblings. i applied to adopt him and his brother, asmodeus, and was accepted, and chose to naturally raise the brothers together. little did i know that this would spark the most incredible drama story since any episode of the jersey shore.
in a sharp contrast to his spiteful and chaotic brother, beelzebub is driven by his inner tranquility and his desire for peace and love. he's not the most physically active cat, rather preferring to lounge about and spend close cuddle time with those he cares about. he's a comforting presence for many petz, and with his overall kind and caring nature, he gets along exceptionally well with younger petz! he truthfully does not have a single mean bone in his body and tries, often in vain, to mediate between petz and maintain the fragile peace. even though he tries to stay in his own harmonious bubble most of the time when it comes to conflict, he does get stressed out when there's even a slight disturbance in the good vibes.
when beelzebub was young, he was raised alongside asmodeus and a third kitten named shrew. it quickly became clear that although both brothers got along well with shrew, asmodeus despised beelzebub and would often initiate fights with him. even though beelzebub tried to interact with his brother more peacefully, asmodeus was firm in his baseless hatred. as they grew older, it became more and more obvious that there was a love triangle forming between shrew and the two brothers, who frantically competed for shrew's affections against the other brother doing the same. asmodeus actually had a kitten with shrew first: his daughter named shock. however, beelzebub also had a kitten with shrew shortly after, named briar, and he maintains a strong relationship with both him and his niece. there's now this weirdly complicated situationship where shrew tends to go back and forth between the two brothers. all seems fairly okay despite the awkwardness...as long as you keep asmodeus and beelzebub separated.
