asmodeus was born to two catz owned by arie at litterzfactory and was available for adoption on their website along with his siblings. i applied to adopt him and his brother, beelzebub, and was accepted, and chose to naturally raise the brothers together. little did i know that this would spark the most incredible drama story since any episode of the jersey shore.
he is interesting in that he is sometimes agreeable and friendly, but has some sort of internal switch that makes him the complete opposite. he gets along well with young petz -- however, unlike his more sage brother, he carries with him a boiling temper when it comes to adults. it's easy to shift him into his "no more mister nice guy" state with only a few pushes of his buttons, and sometimes one can achieve this by simply not doing anything at all. you only know if you've earned his unshakeable ire if he's suddenly tackling you in a fit of rage, and you can only wonder what you even did to deserve this. such is the mysterious way of asmodeus, and other petz are more likely to face his wrath than not.
when asmodeus was young, he was raised alongside beelzebub and a third kitten named shrew. it quickly became clear that although both brothers got along well with shrew, asmodeus despised beelzebub and would often initiate fights with him. even though beelzebub was a more calm and kind cat and tried to interact with his brother more peacefully, asmodeus was firm in his baseless hatred. as they grew older, it became more and more obvious that there was a love triangle forming between shrew and the two brothers, who frantically competed for shrew's affections against the other brother doing the same. asmodeus actually had a kitten with shrew first: his daughter named shock, who he is particularly fond of. however, beelzebub also had a kitten with shrew shortly after, named briar. there's now this weirdly complicated situationship where shrew tends to go back and forth between the two brothers. all seems fairly okay despite the awkwardness...as long as you keep asmodeus and beelzebub separated.
