blackie is a lab/german shepherd mix bred by my 9-year-old self in 2010, rescued off the hard drive of the old family laptop. due to the wonkiness of the p5 german shepherd's proportions, his back legs were basically inverted, meaning that after retrieving his file from the old computer, i transferred him onto kizmet's fixed german shepherd base and lightly brexed him to resemble his original mixed breed appearance. however, he still has the original p5 german shepherd personality lnz, meaning he does the obnoxious bulldog walk on occasion.

like an old boomer who thinks greasers are still in style (perhaps they are?), blackie is a dusty old dog who doesn't understand today's youth, nor does he really make any effort to. he simply believes his taste is superior, and is quite judgemental if you don't agree. he's strong-willed and blunt, and tries really hard to maintain his carefully curated aura of cool-ness, which isn't really that cool to begin with. he so badly wants to be taken seriously, but others usually just think he's funny, which kind of irritates him. despite his rather rough and rude tendencies, as well as his habit for getting into fights, blackie does do well with the youth he so often criticizes, playing with them while making the excuse that he's only trying to "shape them up". someone has to, right?!

...anyway, he really likes the pickle plushie.
